Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with a current CA license and inpatient chemotherapy administration expertise for a hospital-based oncology unit.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an inpatient oncology unit with a patient population of adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Specialty care for blood disorders and cancer, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and CAR T-cell therapy
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required with four weekend shifts per month (Friday-Sunday)
• Float to other units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR; prior experience required
• Responsible for direct patient care, managing complex oncology treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Mentor and support staff while ensuring patient and workplace safety
• Thirty-six hours of orientation provided
• Caribbean blue scrubs required and not provided by the unit
• First-time travelers will be considered if experience requirements are met

• Active California RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification required
• Minimum of three years of oncology nursing experience required, with hematology experience preferred
• Experience in inpatient oncology and administration of chemotherapy required
• Epic EMR experience required
